Chelsea Signs began in Chelsea, Michigan 7 years ago. At the time, their were 4 other graphic design studio's in Chelsea. I decided to hit the sign design angle and open up shop because Chelsea didn't have a sign shop or studio. Once we opened up shop, our studio grew by leaps and bounds.  We were located  above the historic Seitz Tavern. We offered up banners, signs vehicle lettering, ventured in sandblasted signs and old school methods of sign production as well as promoted our graphic and web design services.

My uncle has been in the sign business for over 30 years. I've picked up more knowledge about signs and painting that I have anywhere else. He's got a shop down in North Carolina and is still creating some fantastic chip glass pieces as well as some old school dimensional signs. I also have some of his work displayed in our studio.

After 5 years of growth, the smoke from the tavern ended up running us out. We moved to our new and present location on Main Street in Chelsea. We're located above Vogels and Fosters (a clothing store) across from the Common Grill and a few doors North of Cleary's Pub. The new digs are kid friendly and smoke free!
